Dana Diane Stimler was born in San Diego, CA, on July 27, 1955(the same year Disneyland was opened), and passed away in Salt Lake City, UT, on October 14, 2009. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Paul Stimler, and her mother, Diane Rae Stimler. She is survived by her siblings, Paul Stimler (Wendi Jo Nadler), Jody Donofrio(Joe) and nephews Nick & Keegan Donofrio, Sandra Beck(Douglas), and Rae Bordua (Leon); and by her beloved cat, Rainbow. 
Dana was active in the LDS church and served a mission in Costa Rica/Panama. She was a very accomplished genealogist where she shared her gift at the Family History Center in Midvale. Her profession was a social services counselor in Josephine County, Oregon. She touched many children and adults with special needs. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, October 20, 3:30PM at the LDS Chapel on 8825 S. and 150 West in Sandy. Online condolences can be sent to danadiane.blogspot.com

Dana Diane Stimler was born in San Diego, CA, on Wed., July 27, 1955, and passed away in Salt Lake City, UT, on Wed., October 14, 2009. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Paul Stimler, and her mother, Diane Rae Stimler. She is survived by her siblings, Paul Stimler & Wendi Jo Nadler, Jody Stimler & Joe Donofrio (nephews Nick & Keegan Donofrio, Douglas & Sandra Beck, and Rae & Leon Bordua; and by her beloved cat, Rainbow.

Dana left behind many close friends whom she cherished. She was very active in her church and treasured the time she spent and relationships she built with her LDS brothers and sisters. Dana was an accomplished genealogist and shared her gift with others at the Family History Center in Midvale. She also volunteered at the Utah Historical Society in Salt Lake City.

Prior to moving to Utah, Dana lived in Oregon, where she earned her Bachelor's degree at Southern Oregon College, and was a social services counselor for Josephine County. She touched many lives while working with children and adults with special needs.

Dana served a mission of 18 months in Costa Rica and Panama. She helped people come unto Christ.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, October 20, 3:30PM at the LDS Chapel on 8825 South and 150 West in Sandy. Bishop Ira Hatch will officiate.

Dana will be interred in Medford, OR.
